1 Star Do not come here if it’s warm out. Every time it gets busy, they seem to be consistently understaffed, and the store becomes over occupancy. The biggest issue wasn’t even the wait—it was the customer service. They couldn’t look up my online order, even while I was standing there showing them my receipt. Instead of resolving it, I was told it would take too long to call management, so I should just pay again and request a refund later. After paying a second time, I still waited about 20 minutes, and $18 later, I still didn’t have my smoothie. Busy days are understandable. Poor staffing, overcrowding, and expecting customers to pay twice because the store can’t access order information are not.

I tried Blenders when I was visiting Santa Barbara and I wish there was a location closer to me! I still think about their smoothies. Great quality and super fresh.

I had an excellent experience at Blender’s! The variety of options really stood out — there’s something for everyone, especially if you’re looking for healthier choices without sacrificing flavor. Their smoothies are incredibly tasty, fresh, and well-balanced. You can tell they use quality ingredients.

Before Jamba Juice there was Blenders (In The Grass). Jamba Juice used to be right up the block, but not anymore. That should tell you something. A long-standing staple for smoothies in the Santa Barbara in Central Coast area ,Blenders is a local favorite for smoothies, juice, and fruit bowls. The ingredients always taste fresh and every item is made to order. I particularly like the smoothies, including the Banana and Red Banana. This location is downtown and is fairly small. All orders are to go (take away). My only complaint is the paper straws. They simply don’t last long with a thick smoothie.

Great spot for a healthy smoothie or a green drink while you’re walking in downtown Santa Barbara on the main strip. This is a pretty laid-back place where you can get a variety of healthy smoothies, as well as more calorie dense and rich smoothies. The service was quick, and the staff wasn’t overly friendly, but very professional. I think one way the spot could be improved by having one or two tables on the outside or inside, so that you can sit down while you are waiting or after you order your drink. Otherwise, this is a great spot for a good smoothie, and is in a great location right next to historic shopping and eating.
